About me
I am a highly experienced systemic family psychotherapist and supervisor. I have over 20 years experience working with children, young people and their families in child and adolescent mental health services in the NHS and privately. I also have extensive experience working with couples where there are relationship difficulties including issues around trust, communication and intimacy.
I also enjoy working with families with adult children where there can often be very different ideas about the nature of the difficulties that are being experienced. It can then be useful to meet together, where the different perspectives can be heard, leading to new understandings about how relationships in the family can move forward.
I have a passionate interest in helping families where there is a child or young person who is facing difficulties including those associated with anxiety, depression, autistic spectrum conditions, ADHD, adoption or challenging behaviour.
